I have taken photographs for the local amateur dramatics group for a number of years. They decided their autumn production would be Calendar Girls (2023 being the 20th anniversary of the famous film). You may know the story or can google it. They also (naturally!) decided to produce a charity 2024 calendar to feature in the play and also to sell to raise proceeds. So that became my assignment ! Quite a challenge for me as it's not my normal field ! So quite a bit of pressure given the build up over the summer. I spent a happy Saturday in the company of a group of brave naked ladies shooting the 12 monthly images - all in the best possible taste of course ! Thankfully the calendar has been regarded universally as a success and raised over 4,000 euro for charity.
