These kayakers came very close to being hit by a surfacing humpback whale !
Humpback Whales
Humpback whales photographed in Disko Bay off the west coast of Greenland. The Kangia Glacier (the largest in the northern hemisphere) reaches the sea here pushing huge icebergs out into the bay near the town of Ilulissat. This Ilulissat Ijsfjord is a UNESCO world heritage site.
