In the Almeria area of Andalucia, Spain is a location where shooting for a number of so-called spaghetti westerns took place from the 1960s onwards, such as The Good the Bad and the Ugly, A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars more. It is a very dry and desert like area. Part of the settings have been preserved and enhanced and it is now a tourist attraction which includes several shows each day.
